CHiLi GiRLでは川嶋志乃舞自身が作詞作曲をする楽曲をDr,Ba,Key,Gtのほか、尺八とフルートを交えて、グルーヴィーでポップな世界観でたっぷりお楽しみいただきます。「才能巻き込み型プロジェクト」として、ポップス、ジャズ、伝統芸能を超えて集められた国内外で活躍するメンバーとの競演。

【プロフィール】

茨城県笠間市出身。東京藝術大学邦楽科卒。みとの魅力宣伝部長、笠間特別観光大使。3歳より佐々木光儀に津軽三味線を師事し、これまでに4度日本一を獲得。幼少期より多岐にわたる海外公演、メディア出演等でも活動。佐々木光儀流佐々木光櫻として全国大会入賞者も多数輩出や大学講師登壇など指導にも定評がある。

CHiLi GiRL is a groovy pop group that performs original songs by singer-songwriter Shinobu Kawasaki accompanied by drums, base, keyboard, guitar, shakuhachi and flute. As a project to bring talented artists together, the group is a collaboration between musicians active in Japan and overseas in the fields of pop, jazz, and traditional Japanese music.

Profile

This project to bring talented artists together is the brainchild of Shinobu Kawasaki, a Tsugaru shamisen player who skillfully blends city pop, R&B, latin music and more in a sound that shines with intelligence and aesthetic sensibility. Performing songs written and composed by Kawasaki, the group’s oriental pop has attracted attention in Japan and abroad, captivating audiences with her talented grooves, and her glossy, soulful voice.

Enjoy traditional and dynamic Tsugaru shamisen solo works, folk songs with storytelling, and other Japanese folk songs that are at the root of the CHiLi GiRL sound.

Profile

Born and raised in Kasama City, Ibaraki, Shinobu Kawasaki graduated from the Traditional Japanese Music Department of Tokyo University of the Arts. She is a Mito City promotion representative and Special Tourism Ambassador for Kasama City. She began learning Tsugaru shamisen from Mitsuyoshi Sasaki at the age of three, and has won number one in Japan four times so far. Touring overseas and making media appearances from a young age, and as a teacher of the Mitsuyoshi Sasaki school of Tsugaru Shamisen under the name Kozakura Sasaki, she has produced several national competition winners and taught at the university level.
