【演目について】

本日の演目「芝鬼神（しばきじん）」は、天上の世界（高天原）で乱行を重ねる素瑳鳴尊を姉天照大神がいさめられ、ついに素瑳鳴尊が改心し姉弟がめでたく仲直りされたという神話を神楽にしたものである。前半の舞は姉弟の争いの様を、後半の舞は姉弟の和解を表現している。

【団体紹介】

約20年前から子ども神楽伝承教室を開催しています。現在、その教室の出身者が高校生を含めて5名活躍しています。

【About the Performance】
The legend of god Susanoo Mikoto who was harassing his goddess sister Amaterasu Ōmikami and with whom he was constantly fighting up in heaven, suddenly had a change of heart and happily made peace with his sister. The first half of the dance depicts the fight between the brother and sister, and the second half expresses their reconciliation.

【About the Group】
We have been operating a kagura tradition class for children for approximately twenty years. Currently, there are five members including high schoolers who began learning through the class.
