【鬼太鼓について】

佐渡の鬼太鼓は、魔よけや五穀豊穣を祈り鬼が太鼓の音に合わせて舞い踊る伝統芸能です。能の舞いに各地の特色ある洗練された太鼓と独特の振付がされています。下久知の鬼は阿吽一対の男鬼と女鬼が交互に舞います。迫力ある太鼓のリズムと優雅な鬼の舞いをお楽しみください。

【団体について】

私たち下久知の鬼太鼓は、下久知にある正八幡宮という神社の、久知八幡宮祭礼神事（本祭り）で奉納されています。今年はすでに終わりましたが，来年は9月15日が本祭りの予定です。皆様のお越しをお待ちしております。

　

【About Onidaiko】
The Onidaiko of Sado is a traditional performing art that involves ogres dancing in time with the sound of taiko drums to pray for a successful harvest and ward off evil spirits. Enjoy the intense rhythm of the drums and elegant dance of the ogres.

【About the Group】
We are an Onidaiko group from Shimokuji, and we usually perform at the annual Kuji Hachimangu festival at Shohachimangu Shrine in Shimokuji. It’s already finished for this year, but the festival is scheduled for September 15 next year. We’d be delighted to see you all there.
